Teaching practices

Vanguard School’s daily practices include explicit teaching of various strategies tailored to the needs, as well as continuous and regular evaluation with feedback. Errors are a source of learning, as they allow both the learner and the teacher to identify where additional support or remediation is needed.

Teachers work closely together and adapt their approaches through various joint projects that meet the needs and interests of the students. This may include the use of different teaching strategies and different types of learning materials to ensure that students understand the concepts and can apply their knowledge in concrete situations, and it involves the ever-important use of information and communication technologies that are at the heart of our practices. ICT (Information and Communication Technology): a powerful tool to enhance student learning.
